I contacted support 8 days ago but haven't heard back. Please provide an answer to the following:

We currently have licensing for ArtfulBits Password Change, Expiration, and Reset Web Parts on our test and production farms. We have a full license on production and a development license on test. We have begun a project to upgrade from SharePoint 2010 to 2013 (completely on premise). There will be a period of time while building out our test and production servers for 2013 where we'll need these Web Parts operating on both sets of farms, 2010 and 2013. Obviously we'll be keeping this to a minimum, but I wanted to check with you what licensing considerations there are during a migration. Any information you can provide would be helpful. Thank you,

As you're migrating to a different farm, you need another set of license keys for Password Change, Reset and Expiration.

If you use the last minor versions of these web parts on your new 2013 farm, then you can get a new set of the license keys for free. Our License Agreements implies 1-time free license keys reissue, if the previous farm is decommissioned, or will be decommissioned. If the license keys where already reissued once, then this rule doesn't imply.

The last minor versions of these components (for SP2013) are the following:
Password Change 1.12
Password Expiration 1.1
Password Reset 1.1

However, if you you gonna use the new major version (2.0 and above), then you need to purchase another set of the license keys, as the upgrade to the new major versions is not permitted. However in this cases we used to provide certain discount for our clients. Please, send an email to sales@artfulbits.com in order to get it.

I also apologize for inexcusably long delay with the answer. We didn't monitor this forum for quite a while, but it will be updated and reinstated in the near future.
